I bought a domain on a VPS server. Registered dns servers. But does not come through the domain. comes by ip. in dig domain.ru +short ip is displayed on which it does not enter. dig @ns.xxxx domain.ru +short displays the ip by which I can access the site. Is the problem that the DNS hasn't updated for the server yet?

If you have just registered DNS servers, then yes. Maybe the DNS just hasn't been updated yet.

Changing DNS servers is the longest process (up to 72 hours). Therefore, I do not recommend using the DNS offered by your hosting provider. It is better to choose a third-party DNS hosting (for example, Yandex with mail for the domain) so that "for life".

No need to set up all domain records from scratch when moving.
Domain records are updated more frequently than DNS servers (maximum 24 hours) and this can be controlled by changing their TTL.
