I apologize for the possibly stupid question, but I messed up something in VS Code and my tabs with open files disappeared. How to return them?

In the settings ( File > Settings > Options or Ctrl + , ) check the Show Tabs option , you can find it in the Workspace > Editor Controls > Show Tabs or by typing "Show Tabs" in the search options.
