I am looking for school teachers of computer science (RF). Need advice

Dear habralyudi, I recently (completely unexpectedly for myself) became a computer science teacher at a Moscow school. I have a few questions about software, communication with government agencies, etc. Unfortunately, there is not a single person in the school who would be in the know.

1. The school has a First Aid 1.0 kit with a set of licensed software. All licenses end in December 2010. What's next? Can the keys be renewed?

2. There is a kit "First Aid 2.0" with a set of software and open source software. There is no information about the expiration dates of the keys in the kit (most likely they just lost a piece of paper and disks). What to do? where to run?

3. There is a free software package. Is it necessary to install it?

4. General question. Where can I find out the standards by which school computers must be equipped? The task is simple: pass any test.

I think all the questions should be answered by the methodologists of the RONO or the leading specialists of the RONO in informatics.
RONO is the body that is responsible for the entire process of education in the district. If there is no answer in this organization, there is always a higher authority that can give an answer or clarification. I think it's the Moscow Education Committee.
It is necessary to write a request or a letter (registered, leave a copy) and send it to the appropriate organization. Do not forget to notify the Principal of the School, but it is better to send a request signed by him.
If you have at least one official answer / slap / refusal, you can send any check to ... by poking your nose into the paper.
In state structures, like this: without a piece of paper you are a poop, but with a piece of paper you are a person.
there is also a site of National Education and you can ask your question there

I work as a teacher at a school.
About “what to do, December!” - if the school has not purchased licenses, then it is necessary to install Linux before December 31 (any, AltLinux is recommended, but you can use Ubuntu and Mandriva), on those machines that have a perpetual license, you can not reinstall anything.
Almost all schools in our district have switched to Linux and nothing, everything is fine.
The main thing is that your machines "pull" this assembly of Linux.
ps: children on "Hurrah" took Linux!

kakby, here the question is rather not for computer science teachers but for lawyers. To pass "any test" - there must be no unlicensed software. in this country, it is unlikely that in the near future there will be standards regarding the availability of certain software on computers. it is necessary - to teach children by what means - this is a personal matter. better, of course, open source software - and so that the children get used to it, and so that they cannot be imprisoned ... in the same Linux under Vine, over 95% of everything that children need to learn at school in computer science classes is launched. For example, I remember how at school we had tasks in ASCII characters to draw signs / put folders in ASCII characters - with the same success you can teach children to work in the terminal ... well, all sorts of Excel Words, etc.

In job descriptions? - no seriously. You are hired and you agree with a certain list of documents regulating your work. And agree in writing. The information was given to me by the director of the school. Him - the department of education. And they - the ministry. And you absolutely should not be concerned with following instructions that you were not introduced to.

in pursuit of the above (maybe you know this better than me)
there are three types of checks (maybe there are more):
- an open lesson, by the same people from EARLY
but they look not at the technique but at the methodology of conducting lessons
- accreditation of the classroom (every two / three years), again on the same topic, people from the EARLY
here look at benefits, but since the office of Informatics, they look at both technology and programs.
If there are any requirements for the cabinet, then they must be fixed by departmental instructions and orders. They should be at the methodologist from EARLY. (Perhaps the Principal of the School also has them)
- check by the Licensing Chamber, the guys here are more serious. check for licenses. see below…
Usually Education software is bought centrally by the EARS or by the Education Committee. Therefore, if you know the number of the supply agreement, then you can take (theoretically) license keys from the supplier. This is the answer to First Aid-2. Again, a question to the Director (all contracts go through the Director) or the methodologist of the EARLY.
The question about licenses for Winouses and offices - most likely to the Director or again to EARLY. The applicant with Alexander Ponosov is not in your favor, so you need to have a license. If they are not available, you need to write a letter to EARLY to acquire them.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
