I am looking for an extension for Firefox or Chrome that can cut out the desired part of the page before saving

First, I’ll explain why I need it - it’s very convenient to throw books into the Kindle directly by mail. I just don’t have time to read a lot of articles on Habré, I want to postpone them for later, and for this I just throw them into my Kindle. But since converting takes a long time and also takes a significant part of the time, it’s easier to just send an html page by mail to the Kindle address, voila, and it’s already in my Kindle.
But bad luck, the article is converted somehow crookedly, scrolling through the header, I get to the middle of the article, and I have to scroll back to get to the beginning. In short, horror.
Therefore, it was decided to pre-cut the page from excess rubbish, which, I hope, will allow the article to be converted without errors.
Chrome has a wonderful Print plus resolution, which allows you to print not the entire page, but exactly the blocks that I specify. If they could still be saved in html, she would not have a price.
Mozilla also had a great extension (I haven’t been using Mozilla for a long time, so I was writing, but I think that it still exists) - Read it later, it was called and allowed you to save pages to your archive, also pre-cutting everything superfluous that is on the page.
And now, in fact, after unsuccessful searches, I’ll try to ask the habra community a question - maybe someone came across an extension that allows you to select a section of the page to save, i.e. selected the desired div for example, and saved what is interesting.
The question was asked specifically in such a detailed way, maybe someone will tell you more ways to quickly throw pages into the Amazon book.

ps there is absolutely no desire to convert on a computer - then the process is greatly stretched in time. I want to find a universal and fast way.

There is a button in Yandex.Bar that shows only the text of the article. Then print on a virtual PDF printer and send to Amazon.

You can try instapaper.com and its related extension. True, automatic mailing did not work for me, but manually you can upload a file (mobi) and send it to Kindle-email.

here another problem arises - it is not convenient to read PDF on the Kindle, because. 6 inches and the text is small.
although I like how it draws the text in your picture. probably worth looking for a solution for printing to doc and not pdf.
Thank you!

And then pack / convert to taste ...

Definitely ScrapBook Plus for Firefox addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8186/
You can save the entire page or only a selected part of it, then you can remove unnecessary blocks or elements from the already saved one. In addition, there are all sorts of additional options.

Just type data:text/html in the address bar in Chrome, and a new tab will open in front of you, which you can use as a temporary notepad.
Copy what you need there, edit and save.
Of course, it is better not to remember this address, but to make a corresponding bookmark on the favorites panel in advance.
