I am an enthusiast and I am 37 years old, I know C ++, I have good results. Is game programming worth it or is it too late?

I am an amateur, I have a lot of years. As a child, I was fond of programming, then abandoned it. Now I started again and am writing a game in C ++ and Assembler under OpenGL. There are some results. I worked in SEO for about a year, worked as a tester. Is it worth it to engage in game development now, are there any prospects?

Stop considering age as a disadvantage. It's never too late for anyone.

Mene 52 started at 40 flight is beautiful. I think it's never too late, if there is a desire.

It is too late to do something when the state of health does not allow or you are already in a coffin. If there is interest - do it, it can become something serious and profitable, but, of course, a disappointment of life. Here everything depends on you.

Engage in what context? To cut your project on your own and on enthusiasm? Unless for experience - 99% of the money that you will not earn on this. Go to work in gamedev? Why not.

At the age of 37, the opinion of strangers in terms of what you do should no longer worry you.

What kind of stupid question would you ask if you can go to the toilet for a little, but here 99 percent of people are younger than you
Stop toiling with foolishness, go to the job site, find vacancies in the game day and just calm down on them to work

I think it will not be difficult to learn the sugar and features of C # and start diving into Unity. With unity, it’s easy to enter gamedev at full speed, and not just “after work, I’m sawing the game for myself”

When you ask others if I need to do something, don't do it.. If you have the time and desire to write such stupid questions, look for yourself in another or take it in your hands.

Don't listen to anything above.
Between the real work of a programmer and riveting your code on enthusiasm, the difference is about the same as between a minibus driver and a car owner (in your favorite serviceable comfortable car).
It seems that the process is similar, but in the first case it will be work, exhausting and exhausting. And not entertaining, which you are doing now.

And yes. Late. At 37, people have 10-15 years of experience behind them, especially in these days.
