comrades. it all depends on the OC version and installed fonts.
Now we are on toster.ru, it uses the PT Sans font from the Google online storage.
If the font developers took care of adding the "ruble" symbol to the table, then it will be displayed (I display ₽). If this symbol was not drawn in the font, then this is completely the fault of the developers. Try wrapping the ruble symbol in a span and prescribing in the styles for this span a different font, in the table of which there is support for "ruble".
If we use loading local fonts (from a computer), then we need to take into account the version of the fonts that are installed in your OS. If you're using Windows XP, it's likely (I haven't checked!) that fonts like Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, ... won't display the ruble symbol. In this case, you should connect the font remotely, or download an updated version of the font and connect it locally.
