HTML CSS js what next php or python?
Hello! I plan to write web applications (websites, web services, no matter how funny it may sound, maybe games) I know HTML CSS quite well, I am actively studying js. I was faced with the choice of which language to choose, many people do not like PHP, python is more resistant to server loads than PHP, and more practical. So the question is what would be more correct to learn python or PHP?.

If PHP vs Python, then definitely Python. It's not just a nicer syntax, a more developed and thoughtful ecosystem, but also the fact that Python is far from being only a web, and of course Python's salary is higher, not to mention the fact that writing in PHP is just humiliating now, it's like eating poop. If you want to deal only with the web, then you should ask yourself not so much the choice of language as the choice of the framework.
Nevertheless, as php is not kicked, you can start very easily and quickly there. about loads, I think that only c ++ will win)
Language is a tool. For every task there is a tool. It is better to choose a task for yourself and ask a more specific question.
Now I have to study php intensively, because it is necessary that projects start everywhere and with the least number of problems -> shared hosting -> php
Say what is more stable, where salaries are higher, etc. - is to compare warm with soft without any specifics.
Although, perhaps there is 1 big minus in php - the presence of a large number of different frameworks (which, perhaps, in the long term, is also a plus). If you run into an issue in Rails, Django, or Extjs, chances are someone else has run into it before. And if you take the beta version of the IvanovLabs alphaframework, then it will be more difficult to search.
In some book they wrote that the language should be chosen according to the community, the culture of which is close to you. You can try to learn about something from the world of node, rails, django, scalatra (scala), martiny (go) ...
