HTC.ru why hasn't the HTC brand taken the domain yet?

Maybe someone knows what's the matter, why the HTC brand does not own the HTC.ru domain?

I ask the question with a selfish purpose, so for example, if I buy a myhtc.ru domain, say, can they take it from me?

Inspired by the problems of the Nokia VKontakte group, from which the nokia.vkontakte.ru/ subdomain was taken away.

And what's the point of breeding domains in .ru, .ua, etc. at all? With proper organization of the site, an automatic redirect to the desired language page occurs. Yes, and one domain is easier to advertise and promote: “For all the details, see www.htc.com !” - everything is simple and clear.

1. You have to be so dumb not to find their real site that you can’t earn money for their products.

Right there, everything is decided at the level of 'profitable-unprofitable'.
They seem to have missed the opportunity to register a domain 'just in case', and it's unprofitable to strain and waste energy and money without a special need.
Here's how HTC.RU will have (so far it looks like it doesn't exist at all :) a large enough audience to become interesting for HTC, or they decide to deal more closely with the Russian market - they will try to pick it up or buy it.

As far as I know, the owner did not want to give away or sell the domain. Then he broke a huge amount. As a result, the issue was decided to postpone for the time being. They will probably bring in lawyers later.
As for your domain - do not worry, the same youhtc.ru exists, and no one touches it.

If the court considers that the names are confusingly similar, then they will take it away. But, in my opinion, our courts are not so inadequate :) Although, if HTC registers the My HTC trademark, then there will be little chance of defending the domain in court, judging by current practice, but judging by the situation with htc.ru, it will resukg is not really necessary
