How would you recommend giving files to clients (FTP, WebDAV)?

Prompt modern methods of sending files to remote clients. So that you can easily go to the browser and download your files, and to delete nothing could.

There are many clients, you need to make sure that each account leads to a separate folder. One of the clients must not be allowed to access someone else's folder. It needs to be secure from hacking. Maybe there is a ready-made application for this in php?

Or it is possible to manage nginx+webdav, or lift ftp?

I can set up NextCloud or similar, but it is too cumbersome for such a task.

Here it is. There are links, and logs, and access rights. And you don’t need to program anything, it’s enough to stick jackdaws.
And about the bulkiness. Write a server directly in assembler if you are afraid to use an extra dozen megabytes.
