How will the translation of the site into other languages affect SEO?

Good afternoon! Tormented by the question - I hope for your help in understanding the situation.

There is a website in Russian (services of photo shoots and weddings abroad). It ranks well on Yandex and Google. Interested in adding languages - translation of the site into English and Spanish. We plan to use a plugin for WP - wpml.

We thought about choosing a strategy based on the site.com (Russian), site.com/en/ (English), site.com/es/ (Spanish)
structure will require very large financial investments for translation.

Tell me, is it worth partially translating the site?
For example, for versions in English and Spanish, hide the Blog section, and leave for Russian

. I would be grateful for your opinion and advice.

When translating a site into other languages using a plugin, check for the presence of the hreflang (or lang) attribute in the html code of the pages and Sitemap.
The blog can not be translated into other languages and left only in the structure of the Russian version of the site.
I strongly do not recommend using automated translation for texts (some plugins have such functionality) - only manual translation.
Google in its recommendations says this, unfortunately I can’t give a link now, but you can find it through the search.

Translate the site with a professional translator who is a native speaker. Language versions help the search engine understand the content of the site.
