How will search engines look at a site that contains information from other sites?
What if we make a site with several categories (news, entertainment, etc.) and each category will be information from some site (it will be constantly parsed and published on this site). Of course, I think that such an idea occurred to many, but in practice I have not seen such sites, I think search engines have a bad attitude towards this approach, I think so ...
And yet - is there any point in making such a site, will it be visited (if it information from popular sites), is it possible to reach the first positions with such content, how will search engines look at this, will they cover it for copyright (and how to understand what they can cover for it)?
It's just that this question torments me and I would like to hear all the minuses and pluses ...
Ps - If possible without flooding ...

Cover in two counts. You rightly noted that you are not the first who came up with the idea of parasitizing on other people's work and also correctly noticed that you have not seen such sites. Guess why?
The search engines and the hoster will be slammed on the first complaint of large resources.
You can restrict search engines from indexing certain places on your site by setting robots.txt
Of course, do it. There is also this site:
Now there is a very fashionable topic: auto-filled sites. Install WordPress, install a parsing plugin, and voila, the site is filled with articles in different categories every day. And also put another plugin that posts all these articles on social networks. Cool?
In practice, no!
Some of the articles will be indexed and get into the search, but they will be there on 10 pages. And most of the articles for non-uniqueness will not even get into the index.
Only visitors from social networks remain. But, do not forget that the original sites also post these articles on social networks, and therefore traffic from social networks will be minimal.
Is it worth doing this? Not worth it!
