How viable is the idea of integrating React with Bitrix?

There is a raised front, CRM, with a RESTful API architecture. Just now, the customer asked to integrate the front to bitra (as they usually do with html, sawing it into templates)
So the question is, how reasonable is this and what are the arguments against?
