How to write image to Windows Thumbnail cache?

How to write your image to a file in Windows Thumbnail cache?
For example , IThumbnailProvider has only the GetThumbnail method for getting images from the cache, but I don’t see anything similar for writing to the cache.
Theoretically, you can directly work with the cache files that are located here -

, but for this, of course, you need to know the structure of the database and how to read and write from it, respectively.
