How to write CRM?

Hello! There was a task to write a system for managing the educational process. I'm going to write on my own initiative - so the implementation language is not important. If there is something new, I will gladly study it.
Tell me what are the convenient links for creating a desktop application with a web client, or vice versa, a backend with a desktop REST client?

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management, relationships with customers.
What does "learning process management" have to do with it???
CRM, for example, you are conducting a deal, which requires 100 approvals at different levels - that's CRM and allows you not to forget.
Or, for example, do not forget to congratulate your beloved major customer on his birthday; read in CRM that he loves Spartak and give him tickets to Spartak - Chelsea - this can also be called a CRM function.
It has no direct relation to the management of one's own educational process.
Only indirect.

Server API is being made.
To which the web client, mobile client and desktop client are then easily connected.
