How to write a term paper in Times New Roman font for Apple OS?

The question is academic.
Recently, students with MacBooks have complained that writing a textbook (i.e. using Times New Roman) is a pain in the ass. the font is not presented in Apple text editors, and typesetting everything according to the requirements of GOSTs in Google Docs is very inconvenient.
I personally did not deal with Macs, I do not know.
Gentlemen experts, enlighten, please. How difficult is it to legally fulfill these requirements of the training manual under macOS?

Well, I don’t know, I didn’t delve into it ... Perhaps there is no font before installing Office, but I have a clean system (I set it a week ago) and there is a font in Word!
