How to work with SSH in Visual Studio Code?

Please tell me how you can set up synchronization via SSH with github in Visual Studio Code, so that when you connect, the project is pulled from the repository.

Most likely the solution is the simplest, but my eyes are blurry and I do not see the obvious.

Relevant for any editor, though xs will the built-in plugins work with this. phpstorm is working.
