How to work on a virtual server?

In general, the situation is this: There is a rented virtual server.
It's loaded with websites. But ns domain servers are not registered to this hosting. so here it is: is there any way, without having a domain by ip, to work as a full-fledged site with one single category?

yes, why not, install Apache/Nginx/IIS or whatever you like and work. Look at the firewall so that it does not swear. All. Your 80th port will be resolved by IP address (well, or which one you need)

If you have your own domain, you can create a subdomain, bind to the server ip
Add serverAlias in Apache or servername in nginx
