How to work effectively with the Erl shell?
Not so long ago, I started programming in Erlang and immediately encountered a strange thing - in its native shell, erl, you can’t clear the screen (which is very inconvenient), and it’s even unclear how to exit from there normally. Share the links please, or give advice on how to develop and debug Erlang programs more conveniently. And in general, does anyone use the erl shell for debugging and production?

I read many times how they connect to a combat node through the erl shell and postpone it or see how it feels, so you can assume that people are using it. I myself did not use it in this way. I don’t have something directly combat in production, but I used how to quickly see what would happen if I set this function on data or something like that.
You can exit normally. way: ctrl + g and after q
It is in the documentation.
