I am a freelancer in Ukraine :) Questions in order:
1. On the multi-currency account of UkrSib or Privat (I have not tried others), euros and bucks come via swift in a few days.
2. Transfer to tax accounts acc. payer code. Any accountant will show you in 5 minutes.
3. It's - Oh. Get euros to your account, wait for their forced sale, transfer hryvnia from your account to a card, go to an ATM, withdraw hryvnia, stand in line at the exchanger, present your passport, buy euros. Unfortunately, according to our moronic legislation, that's the only way. For hamsters: really nothing. Even if you have a multi-currency account, a multi-card and an ATM with bucks, you still can't. And through the cash desk of the bank, too, in any way. This is in Ukraine. If you live in the Eurozone, then no problem.
4. Required.
1) in any way convenient for you.
2) do not pay
3) at an ATM with currency
4) no

I receive money to a dollar account in OTP Bank.
Ukrainian state does not deserve that I pay taxes to it from my income. There is no merit of the state that I earn money. Moreover, it does everything so that I do NOT earn money. So I'm not going to feed this shit. Enough of the fact that I pay 20% of the VAT from any purchase, it is not clear to anyone, it is not clear why and it is not clear why exactly 20%.
OTP issues currency in hand without any problems. If the amount is more than the equivalent of UAH 10,000, you should call the branch and order in advance. If it's less, just come and pick it up. At the same time, a certain commission is paid in hryvnia. For example, last week, when withdrawing 375 usd from an account, I paid a commission of 69 UAH.
The concept of an individual entrepreneur does not exist. There is an FLP (FOP my sovereign).
If you want to feed Ukrainian corruption, open it.
If you want to have hemorrhoids that once in the N-th period you didn’t bring some stupid piece of paper to the tax/pension/etc, and get fines for it, open it too :)
If you want to be constantly guilty, open it too.
Otherwise - avoid, as any stupid unnatural garbage is avoided.
But there is a nuance: some Ukrainian offices pay freelancers only to the FLP account. I encountered only once - freelancing on the SuperDeal discounter - payment only to the FLP account. The choice is either to avoid such offices, or still open your own sole proprietorship, or use friends / familiar intermediaries with an open individual.
I opened a FOP back in 2010. In different periods, he led himself, and paid the accountant, and handed over to the employer's accountant for management. In 2013 I put it on the shelf and forgot it like a bad dream. I don’t even want to go to the tax office for closing - I’m waiting for the automatic closing procedure to work, in theory this should happen 3 years after the last operation.
For a good individual entrepreneur, you need to register, but to be honest, now the conditions are a little straining - a pension fund with its own mandatory payment, for example. Something around 400-700 UAH.
When the last time I was an individual entrepreneur, I paid 80 UAH. a month and without reporting strains, now the accountant told me that it’s better to shoot myself - I scored on that :)
