How to watch 3D video on PC?

There is a PC, a Sony smart TV with a 3D viewing function is connected to it. True, he was not equipped with glasses for viewing such. But the old LG without Smart was equipped with as many as two pairs.
A video about dinosaurs was downloaded in 3D "picture over the picture" format, playback via KMplayer. In the player settings, the 3D function was not included. In the setting of the TV itself, I turn on the desired 3D image mode, the picture changes, becomes blurry, but with glasses the image does not acquire a three-dimensional effect and is still smeared. I don’t understand the reason, I’m inexperienced in the field of 3D. And so:
- Incompatibility of points from different firms?
- or am I using the wrong software / not turning it on?
UPD: The glasses are not red and blue.
