Hello!

Created and deleted virtual machines in VirtualBox many times this week. After some time I deleted them. How can I check that the virtual disks to the machines have also been erased and do not take away memory from my hard disk?

in the settings of the program there is a folder for disks. Go and check if they are completely gone.
