How to view attachments in Gmail?

They sent me a letter with an attachment (a Word document). In googlemail, I see an email with the original email attached (xxx.eml). How to view attachments from original email? “View” shows the source code of the letter, “Download” downloads it to the computer, but how can I see it again without Outlook / Bat / etc.?

Yes, these are stupid clients, like mail.ru is forwarded like that. Directly infuriates, no, it’s normal, like everyone else, to send the attachments themselves.
