How to use wbadmin from 2012 R2 in 2008R2?

In 2012 and 2012R2, the delete backup option was added to the wbadmin capabilities. In 2008R2 this option is not available. Is it possible somehow to use wbadmin from 2012 in 2008R2? Or perhaps there is an update for 2008R2 that gives wbadmin the delete backup option?
