Connecting to VPN via PPTP on Windows. The problem is that all traffic goes through the VPN, and I need the VPN to work only when I visit some sites.
Is it possible to implement this, and if so, how?

It is necessary in the properties of the VPN connection - in the network settings, disable "Use the default gateway on the remote network" and add routes through the VPN to the necessary sites.
