How to use Ubuntu and Windows on the same PC through windows bootloader?

Hello, once again I installed Ubuntu on my laptop and was surprised that grub does not appear when loading the PC. That is, Windows is loaded immediately. The first time he marked the partitions for ubuntu, the second time he marked the partitions himself, but indicated that the bootloader should be installed not just on sda, but on the partition with the bootloader from Windows - sda1 (it was written in parentheses - windows loader), and the third time put everything automatically (by clicking the "put next to windows 7" button). And every time, the impudent Windows loaded itself without any questions. (I tried holding shift when loading).
So, how do I get to this very ubunta? I would very much like to put the windows bootloader using EasyBCD. I tried, created a new item with ubuntu, and indicated the disk partition with the mount point "/", but when I tried to boot through this item, a black screen appeared and the cursor started blinking (in the sense - "_"). What should I do?

To reduce the time for disassembly in a situation, I will offer you a quick solution to the problem. If you now boot Windows normally, then install Grub via LiveCD. If Windows does not currently boot, then restore the Windows bootloader via the installation CD, and then install Grub via the Linux LiveCD. There are a lot of instructions on the Internet, Grub should automatically pick up both Ubuntu and Windows.

Maybe GRUB just doesn't show up. For some reason, I also had this on my laptop, but I didn’t pay much attention, because. there was nothing but ubuntu. So, you install grub customizer . You open, then the tab "General settings". There will be a checkmark next to "show menu". I think this is what you are looking for. Good luck
PS Since it won't boot from it, you'll have to do it from a LiveCD/USB. This should help
PSS Modify /etc/default/grub (don't forget to mount the correct read/write partition). Then just reconfigure with the appropriate command

Just install grub from your boot disk/flash drive.
man grub-installif you don't know/remember the parameters

I would advise not to do so. I don’t know how it is now, but at one time I faced bootloader damage many times. It's better to keep Ubuntu separate, Windows separate. Alternatively, you can run Windows through a virtual machine in Ubuntu, or vice versa, depending on which OS you use more often. So by the way, it's even more convenient than rebooting.

to do it the way you want (I answer the question on the title of the question)
just download the image; unpack and in most cases there is a setup.exe
and already install and remove then ubutu can be from the control panel "setup and remove programs"
but this is not desirable it’s better to install it the other way around with grub, so it’ll be better
, you’ll see when you use all this ...)
(and you answered what you already did)
