How to use the new TextField features in material design 2?

Good day!
Maybe someone has already worked with the new Material design library? In particular, I can't figure out how to use the new features for input fields. https://material.io/design/components/text-fields.... here it is beautifully shown that you can embed icons inside edit text'a (left or right), but they don't write how to do this... I re-picked So many things already, but I did not find the answer.
