How to use Smart-grid in Webpack and customize it?

I can't figure out how to use Smart-grid in Webpack. Install - installed, but in which directory to create the settings file and how to connect it - to which file? What settings need to be registered?
How to use it later - just like in Gulp in the scss file, add via @include or do you need something else in addition?
