How to use openstreetmap in Node.js?

I'm trying to figure out openstreetmap, but I can't find a proper tutorial. I went to npm.com, found the node-geocoder module, but I see that not all functionality is supported on openstreetmap. I need to build routes, set points of interest and sign them. What modules do you use? Found also https://leafletjs.com/. I haven’t worked with maps yet, I don’t understand what needs to be processed on the client, and what on the server, what to use to display. I will be glad to any advice and resources)
