How to use npm in laravel?

when I try to write npm -v in the openserver console, I get this error ""npm" is not an internal or external
command, operable program or batch file." I read that you need to write the path to nodejs in the path, I registered it, restarted the console, it didn’t help, although if you write npm -v in a regular console, it works.
