How to use app templates for android?

Hello. From time to time, for my projects, I use various templates for Wordpress. I bought / downloaded, installed, corrected it a little, filled it with information and go to the tests.
The question arose, how are mobile application templates edited? For example, I bought a template on codecanyon , and then what should I do with it? What basic knowledge do I need to be able to edit it minimally? Or it's not as easy as with WP templates. ?

I took this pattern once. He was on Cordova. html/js. Inside the archive there is a file with a description of the assembly and how to edit the template, change styles, texts, and more. Easily understood.
