How to upload photos to Instagram from a MacBook?

The girl-photographer with the Zelkalka was very surprised that it was possible to post 0.3 megapixel photos on Instagram from an android, but her photos from her SLR, processed in Lightroom on a Mac, were not allowed on Instagram. Googling resulted in several completely stillborn softins for solving this problem (for example, requiring preliminary squaring and 650px resizing).
How to restore her faith in the hopelessness of the universe?

No, it's social. network for mobile photos, not for DSLRs.

In fact, the essence of Instagram is that the client for it is available only on mobile phones. If you want to upload a cool photo, copy it to your mobile phone first.

Install an android emulator, but I don’t know if it is on the MAC. On it, enter the play market. And download Instagram there. And drag and drop copy the photo there. That's the whole way.
