How to upgrade Linux Mint to version 20 without mintupgrade?

Hi all!

Is it possible to upgrade Linux Mint from 19.3 to 20 without the mintupgrade utility? This utility swears at packages from PPA, but there are a bunch of them and I don’t want to remove them. For example, if you edit the repository files under Linux Mint 20?

When updating via mintupgrade, the system is still clumsily installed, it's easier to demolish and install from a USB flash drive, checked for 17 (upgrade to 19) and 19 (upgrade to 20)
