Where to ask questions about Linux?
As time goes by, it becomes more and more difficult to get help setting up Linux. The more complex the question, the more likely it is that I will not get an answer.
Example:
What and how to correctly replace ibus in ubuntu 14.10 gnome-session-fallback/Metacity?
Why doesn't systemd see the result of dhclient ?
How to configure layouts in Ubuntu 14.10 Gnome Fallback on a per-window basis?

askubuntu.com/questions/549211/keepassx-0-4-3-and-...
askubuntu.com/questions/548458/ubuntu-14 -10-system...
askubuntu.com/questions/546307/allow-different-inp...
The same situation on serverfault.com, forum.ubuntu.ru, ubuntuforums.org I
create bugs on launchpad - useless, hang for years, no comments.
Option 2: either I'm looking in the wrong place, or I'm a loser with a specific configuration. Is there any chance of getting help somewhere else, or will I have to grit my teeth to accustom myself to the mainstream like Unity and stop configuring for myself?
The third option - download the sorts and sort it out yourself - is not suitable. Each new release brings new problems.

Well, I would not advise you to live with gnome-session-fallback NOT on lts =)
They lick it to LTS (it worked fine in 12.04), and then "just upload it to the repository" until the next release.
On LOR, of course. They will quickly explain where to go and how to ask questions ...
Well, as it were - stackoverflow.com has not been canceled, everything is there.
