How to update the library in iTunes?

So it goes.
I put my media library in order, shoved everything into albums, downloaded a new one, deleted all the needs.
But in iTunes, everything is still the same - the new is not added, the old is not restructured.
I tried to reboot, but to no avail.

It turns out that you put things in order through something else, since nothing has changed in iTunes? Or did iTunes reset after a restart?
