I tried to update via mesa, but in vain ... You need to install the proprietary driver on the graphics card. If you have Ubuntu, then in the menu, find the Driver Manager application or something like that, and select the proprietary driver. Nothing to download from the vendor's site is unnecessary, at least for now.
