How to uninstall NVIDIA audio module in Linux?
The problem is with the NVIDIA audio module, it causes for some reason the load on all processor cores in idle. On Windows, this was resolved when installing the NVIDIA driver, by not installing the audio driver. On Linux, I don't know how to do this. I tried to disable the audio driver via blacklist snd_hda_codec_hdmi, but absolutely all audio was disabled from both the motherboard and the monitor. As a result, I need sound to be output from both the monitor and the motherboard, but not through NVIDIA audio.
