How to undisplay file in sublime text 3?

There is such an urgent problem that has been haunting for a long time. In the editor, when I select a file from the sidebar to rename, delete or move, this same file is always displayed in the workspace and this is terribly annoying, because every time I have to delete it. The most important thing is that it does not matter which mouse button I click on it.
How can I cancel this action, can someone help, I would be grateful.

Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to check my guess right now, but try setting the "preview_on_click" parameter to false in the settings (by default, it seems to be true ).
