How to understand what is not working, processor or motherboard?

I have an HP AAHD2-HY REV:1.03 motherboard with an AMD A8-3800 Series Processor
When I try to turn it on, zero response. What with RAM that without a beeper does not emit a signal. Coolers don't work. BIOS reset. No visual defects are observed. Changed the battery.
The question is, how to understand whether this whole thing works at home?

The dumbest and easiest way is to change components one by one. And dance from it.

Without obviously serviceable test components - in any way. A motherboard without a processor (or with a faulty processor) will not beep, even if everything else is working.
