How to translate a site with Wordpress posts into different languages?
Initially, there are such pages:
site.com/2018/06/23/how-to-make-a-barrell-roll
site.com/category/high-pilotage
And I want to add these:
http://site.com /Rus/2018/06/23/how-to-make-a-barrel/
http://site.com/Rus/category/aerobatics/
And also for other languages.
Or not site.com/Rus/, but ru.site.com or something else - this is of little importance.
The dumbest solution is to simply create a Rus folder, copy the entire site into it (also make two databases), administer both sites separately and constantly synchronize everything. :)
But I would like to do something smarter. So that the site with the database and all the settings remains the same, but in the admin panel each entry would have several versions with a switch, the same for categories. The post or category is the same, but we write the URL, title, text of the post in the admin panel separately for each language.
And in the end it works exactly as described.
Ideally, automate the translation itself with the help of Google or something else: here we create a category, fill in the title-en: "High-pilotage" and then the admin panel itself fills in its title-en: "High-pilotage", and we already finalize with a file (under " Higherpilotage"). And what is especially important - also with records, otherwise it is not very convenient to translate each paragraph separately, or translate the entire document with Google, but then edit the html, removing nonsense like class = "notranslate" from it. But these are goodies and perhaps it would be decided by searching for such a translate service that does not spoil html, or something else on the topic.
