How to transfer Windows from hdd (GPT) to smaller ssd?

Hello. Never migrated from UEFI. I put the migration through Paragon Migration OS / It seems that the migration has started, after completion I connect it to the main sata ssd with the migrated OS, but the system swears and the maximum only allows you to load the software built into uefi.
Details HDD 1TB with system in GPT markup (45GB used), I want to transfer to ssd 128GB.
Or can put the system on ssd and then recopy the Windows partition from the old hard drive?:

Was there UEFI on the old one too?
Reduce the partition to 115 GB and transfer.

Use the standard Windows image creation utility. (Backup and Restore). Make a copy and restore it to ssd.

  1. Shrink the system volume to fit on the SSD.
  2. Then clone it with any utility.

You can compress a volume either from the graphical Disk Management utility or from the command line - diskpart.
Never migrated from UEFI.
What does UEFI have to do with it if we are talking about transferring a disk from HDD to SSD?

if there is no specific long-term software, the easiest way is to install it again (the time spent is within one and a half hours), the axis may "think" and not notice the transition to ssd - working defragmentation, prefetch and many other joys of hdd will take another hard drive to the world quickly enough.

First, clear space on the disk in C, so that it is the size of the SSD. Better than at least 70% of the capacity of the SSD.
Then take AdminPE , make a flash drive with it using Rufus .
Boot from flash drive.
Using MiniTool PartitionWizard, compress partition C + 5 GB to a minimum, clone using Image For Windows.
Turn off computer. Disable HDD.
If you need to leave the HDD - keep in mind - when loading Windows, if there are both clones at the same time - non-transferable and subsequently unrecoverable special effects may begin, so after making sure that everything went well - bang the copied partitions on the HDD with the same MiniTool or Fdisk.
PS. Necessarily - explain to the system that now it is not the HDD, you do not need to defragment and you need to use TRIM. It's easy - on the command line: winsat disk
After cloning - expand the size of volume C to the entire SSD in the disk manager.
