How to transfer virtual machine from vmware esxi to hyper-v?
Tell me how to transfer a virtual machine (Ubuntu 12.04) from VMWare Esxi 5.1 to Hyper-v server 2012 R2?
I found one solution using StarWind V2V Image Converter, copied the folder from the Esxi virtual machine, converted it to VHDX. I transferred this vhdx file to Hyper-V Server, created a new virtual machine, indicated this VHDX, I launch it, and there
Can you tell me how to be? It doesn't work through System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012R2, because my VMWare is limited, without Api.

I also tried different methods for a long time, but in the end I settled on this:

In my opinion, it is generally the only working one :)
Virtually any machine, whether physical or virtual, running Windows can be migrated using the native and free Disk2VHD tool to Hyper-V. It essentially takes an image from a disk or disks and converts it into a VHD (X) file, on the basis of which a new virtual machine on Hyper-V is made.
The only thing is that you need to choose the right HDD controller, and all network card settings will also be lost.
I would transfer the stage4 gentush method.
I'm so used to transferring all sorts of Ubuntu and other Debians. I wrap it
in stage4, create a virtual machine in a new place, deploy it, turn around, edit configs and put a hornbeam.
Easier than carrying vhd.
