How to transfer the perco-s-20 security system from one computer to another?
Greetings, dear forum users!
I recently encountered such a problem as transferring the perco-s-20 security system from one computer to another. The fact is that this system is installed only on PC1, on which I need to reinstall the system. To do this, I need to transfer the pirka to PC2 so as not to lose control of the security system. I don't know how to do this, I've already broken my head.
Who faced a similar problem or just people who understand how this whole system works, please help to solve this problem.
PS I didn't install and administer the security system, so I don't understand it well.

I believe we are talking about PERCo S-20 . If so, then this is not easy, but very simple. All configuration, all data and licenses are stored in one single database file. If you do not want to bother at all, then the procedure is as follows:
1. Open the PERCo S-20 Control Center , the License Management tab and see which licenses have been purchased.
2. You take a distribution kit of the same version and install the same set of modules on a new PC. At the same time, the system server and the database server are required.
3. On the old PC, in the same Control Center, on the Database Creation and Management tab , you look at the path to the database file and open the folder with it.
4. Again inIn the Control Center, on the Server Management tab , you stop both servers - the database and the system, and copy the file to a new computer. And it is better to remove the database file from this folder altogether. But don't delete. And that's not enough.
5. On the new PC in the Control Center, on the Create and manage the database tab , check the box in the Mode section for the Change settings value and write the path to the database file, then press the floppy disk in the upper left corner to save the settings.
6. After that, the software must be removed on the old PC. There should not be two servers on the same network working with the same controllers. If you need a lot of user work, then only the client part of the software is installed.

If you want to do everything perfectly, then you can also optimize the database, update the software to the latest version, update controller firmware, etc. If anything, contact me - contacts are in the profile.
