How to transfer tasks from one project to another in Jira on different boards?

For a long time, Jira used the team-driven project template, where there was one kanban board. With the growth of the company, there was a need to separate processes between the teams of development, design, marketing, etc. To optimize the work, we decided to create a project managed by the company, dividing the work of different departments into scrum boards within one project. Also, there was a need to save all completed and relevant tasks for a couple of years. But when transferring tasks by scope (or even by one task) from the old project to the new one, the tasks were randomly distributed among the boards. There is also no way to transfer a task from one board to another.

Are there any workarounds in Jira, how to transfer the task pool from the old project to the new one, while on different boards?

First you need to decide how to divide tasks between teams. In your case, the components fit well. Accordingly, it is necessary for each task to put down a component of development, design, marketing, etc. Then create the required number of boards. For each board, add the corresponding component to the filter. Only those tasks that have the corresponding component will appear on each board.
