How to transfer Jira from one server to another?
I looked at the manual for transferring Jira, but I couldn’t transfer it. I use Jira in conjunction with mysql on ubuntu 14.04.
I did the following steps:
- I dumped the database on the old server
- I copied the /application-data/jira and /atlassian/jira directories
On the new server:
- I created a clean database in mysql
- I downloaded the .bin file installer, ran it and installed everything
- I import the database from the old server
- Overwrite the /application-data/jira and /atlassian/jira directories
As a result, there is no old data in jira. What am I doing wrong?
