How to transfer files to Google Drive correctly?
Tell me how to transfer files from a laptop to Google Drive?
I installed Google Drive Sync https://www.google.com/drive/download/ but I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly.
I need to stupidly transfer (not copy) about 50 GB from a laptop to storage, but as far as I understand, Google Drive Sync works in two directions, i.e. if I delete the files from the laptop after synchronizing the files, then either it will be deleted in the cloud or it will be downloaded again to the laptop.
Orient me how to properly transfer files from a laptop and not lose them.
PS It is not convenient to drag and drop files through the web interface. Lots of folders and files.

1. Create a folder for these files in the Google Drive application on your computer.
2. Throw your 50 GB there, and then wait for them to synchronize with the cloud.
3. In the settings of the Google Drive application, you remove synchronization from this folder with files on your computer.
4. Delete the folder with files in the Google Drive application. They remain only in the cloud.
