How to transfer exchange to a new server correctly?

There is a server with Windows 2008r2 and exchange 2007. There are users and owa. You need to make a move to another new server with Windows 2008r2. On the new server, I installed exchange 2007, updated it. I went into the console, as far as I understood, he picked up the settings from the old server, i.e. when I go to a new server, I see, for example, those policies that were, a list of email addresses, and so on.

I open the console, go to the mailboxes, but I see only the old server. New is not on the list.
