How to transfer data losslessly with proxmox?
Greetings, dear users! When downloading, in particular, backups from Proxmox via FTP, the resulting files were distorted and did not pass the vma verify -v check, due to damaged headers. Thus, I conclude that when transmitting over this protocol, there is a high degree of distortion and loss of information. What other ways are there to transfer files for storage to another server (on Windows/Linux) without loss? Perhaps there are protocols, services or scripts that check and compare the transmitted data, ensuring their reliability. Or how did you solve this problem?
Thank you.

Taking into account the fact that I have not seen such distortions in 15 years, the problem is probably not in the protocol
. You are downloading backup, which means there cannot be a vma verification there, or are you downloading virtual drives on the go?
