I need to teach my beaglebone to communicate with the modbus slave program. I need to transfer bits. I am using the libmodbus library. The problem is that it does not send data.

Most likely, the equipment with modbus slave and should not send data by itself, because. there is a "modbus master" that should send a request to the "slave" and even then it will respond to the request.
