How to transfer an LXC container from a physical machine to a virtual one?

I want to transfer several LXC containers from a physical machine to a virtual one on HYPER-V 2012 R2.
Somehow I faced the transfer for a long time, but there were no problems. This time, the containers either do not start at all, or they start, but without access to the local network and the Internet, respectively.
Is there any universal way to transfer containers from one hardware to another, or, as in my case, to a virtual machine ??
I'm using Ubuntu Server 14.04 in VM and 12.04 in physical. car.
Or, as an option, clone physical. disk and substitute it as a virtual one in some kind of virtualization program?
Will suit any solution. The task is to transfer production data from the old dying server and get it working on another machine with Windows Server 2012 R2.

Transferring a container from an iron server to a virtual one == transferring from an iron server to an iron one.
Well, your question is too general. See logs, smoke mana. Here is the fact that you have one version of the axis on a physical machine, and another in a virtual one - it may well be the root of the problem.
And the virtualization system here, I think, has nothing to do with it. Though KVM, even XEN, even Hyper-V - you are not working with the environment, but with a specific axis in the virtual machine.
