How to transfer a site to a new domain in google?

Hello everyone , I have a gaming site and a movie site on its subdomain . I decided to take a separate domain for the movie site, but then I ran into a problem. I read the FAQ on Google Search, it says that if I make a new domain, then I need to add it, and in the old one, select the transfer to a new domain, and then within 180 days all pages will be transferred to another domain. But 180 is way too much. And now I don’t know which option is better, remove the subdomain from the search and add another domain right away as a new site, or do as it is written in the Google Search FAQ. Maybe someone tried it? If you know the best way please tell me. Thank you in advance .
PS In Google, the site has 31,000 pages (I don’t know if it matters or not)

We need another 301 redirect from the old domain until it is completely transferred. You need to redirect all pages while maintaining the structure
